OSAKA!

The Cecilia String Quartet is honoured to announce that we have won Second Prize at the 6th Osaka International Chamber Music Competition! Thank you to all our wonderful family and friends for your love and support!

SUMMER!

We have yet another exciting summer ahead! After we compete at Fischoff and in Osaka we will participate in the Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival in Michigan, teach and perform at the Austin Chamber Music Festival in Texas, perform at Lachine Festival in Montreal, at the Harbourfront Center, Toronto Music Garden, and at the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival, and then we will be in Montreal recording our first CD! We're currently having a blast in Mexico and will have new pictures up for you as soon as we're back in SD!

The Cecilia String Quartet will be competing in the 6th Osaka International Chamber Music Competition this May!

California!

The CSQ has relocated to San Diego to complete the Joseph Fisch and Joyce Axelrod String Quartet Residency
at San Diego State University in cooperation with the La Jolla Music Society. We have traded our sweaters and parkas for bikinis and beach towels! (We all have terrible tan lines.)

SUMMER!

We have an exciting summer ahead! We will are currently in New York City, participating in the Juilliard String Quartet Seminar. After this, we will be at the Aspen Music Festival, compete at the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition, and perform at the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival and later at Music Garden Toronto.
